How do I get to Oak Ridge BaptistChurch?

Oak Ridge Baptist is located on Bethel Valley Road just inside Oak Ridge. Click here for driving directions. Because of our new location, most mapping and GPS softwares do not provide accurate directions to our address.

  • From Oak Ridge, Take Illinois Ave towards Knoxville. Follow the Bethel Valley Road Exit off to the right. Bear left and go under S. Illinois Ave. Oak Ridge Baptist Church will be on your left.
  • From Knoxville, Travel Pellissippi Parkway until it turns into S. Illinois Ave at Oak Ridge city limits. Take the Bethel Valley Road Exit. Turn right at second intersection Oak Ridge Baptist Church is straight ahead.

Sunday Schedule

  • Sunday School - 10:00 am
  • Worship Service and Kids Church - 11:00 am
  • Evening Service - 6:00 pm

Wednesday Schedule

What are the services like?

Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise, with avariety of hymns and new songs provided by our choir and other musicians. Ourmusic is Godfocused, vibrant and alive. For the preaching, Pastor Craig preaches Bible-based messages that are timely and applicable. Copies ofhis messages are available for download or canbe requested on audio CD.

At the end of the services, Pastor Craig typically invites the congregation torespond to the message - to accept Christ as Savior, to make a spiritualdecision, or simply to pray. Counseling is available during this time aswell.

Services generally last 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Where can I park?

We have parking near the main entrance for visitors. Please takeadvantage of these parking spaces during your visit.

What happens when I arrive?

Friendly greeters will meet you at the door. They can direct you to theauditorium, classrooms, or nurseries.  Our building is a one floor fully accessible facility. Greeters and ushers will be happyto answer any questions you may have during your visit. Information isavailable from any usher in the lobby.

What is available for infants, toddlers, children and teenagers?

There are well-equipped and fully-supervised secure nurseries to care for infants andtoddlers. Classes are available for children through 6th grade. Junior and senior high teens meet as part of Oak Ridge's dynamic CrossTrainingprogram.

How can I meet other members of OakRidge?

One of the best ways to meet others and develop friendships is to be involvedin a SundaySchool Class . Many classes are available from which to choose. Our classes give opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth.

How can I learn more about OakRidge Baptist Church?

Attending a service or class is a good start. Fill out a visitor card andone of the pastor's will gladly contact you. Also, friendly people areeverywhere to answer your questions and provide you with information about Oak Ridge's ministries andevents.

If you're interested in becoming a member of Oak Ridge, or if you want more of an in-depthlook at the ministries here, then the Next Step Classis for you. It is a class that meets on selected Sunday mornings at 10:00am in Pastor Craig'soffice.
