Volunteers are a vital part of our church community. God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities, and there are many different ways to serve. Children’s Church Assistant
We are thrilled to share an exciting opportunity within our Children’s Church program to contribute to our Sunday morning services. This role involves a yearly rotation for one month, working with children either ages 4-6 or ages 7-8. You will partner with another adult to deliver engaging lessons that align with our mission of Declaring Christ and Discipling Believers.
The ideal candidate would possess a love for children, commitment to a positive atmosphere, and good communication skills.
Position: Children's Church Teacher's Assistant
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher during engaging Sunday morning services for our young ones.
Help create a warm, welcoming environment.
Support in organizing and running Children's Church activities.
Qualifications:
Completed Ministry Application (attached below)
Minimum 6 months of attendance at Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
An interest in children's ministries
