Treasurer
Oak Ridge Baptist Church is seeking a Treasurer to join our Finance Team. The role will lead our financial team managing our financial systems, reporting financial results, and ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. This role collaborates with the Pastoral Staff to provide accurate financial reporting.
The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring that all funds and securities of the church are properly secured in our financial institutions and appropriately accounted for in our financial systems. The Treasurer will work directly with the Pastoral Staff and Deacons to manage the financial processes of the church to deliver and control the church’s resources, budget, and accounting procedures.
This position provides a great opportunity to use your skills to keep the church financially accountable to its members while pursuing our mission to declare Christ and disciple believers.
This is an elected and voluntary position.

Position: Treasurer
Responsibilities:
- Leading and delivering Financial Reports to the leadership and stakeholders of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
- Finance and budget management
- Maintain and inspect the integrity of Oak Ridge Baptist Church’s financial systems.
- Lead and manage the Treasurer’s Team (Assistant Treasurers, typically 2-3 individuals)
- Supporting team development, mentoring, and coaching
- Possess in-depth understanding of the mission of Oak Ridge Baptist Church
- Facilitate growth
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant bookkeeping, finance, or accounting experience.
- Extensive leadership experience, professional knowledge, and job experience working for financial institutions and church ministries.
- Must possess extensive understanding of ORBC organization, doctrine, and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Experience using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Not a paid staff member at Oak Ridge Baptist Church
